Comic Book Reviews of the week 2/22/2017 by Anthony Andujar Jr

Hi guys, As usual I've been busy. Most assuredly this week I was busy being sick for a week. But that's not why you're here. You came for these comic book reviews. I mean, you could have went anywhere else to read some comic reviews, but instead ,you decided to come here to check them out. Maybe to compare and contrast? maybe to get a second, third or fiftieth opinion?  Regardless, I'd like to say thank you for taking the time to check out this page to see what books may be of interest, or to see what one thinks of a shared title of interest. Anywho, thank you for taking the time to check out this blog.

Joshua Williamson brings the Rogues Reloaded arc to a close. With all of the trouble that The Flash has dealt with, is there any way for him to truly sway the Rogues from their villainous ways or will he have to accept the fact that some people may never change? A real life dilemma for us all in the real world that's for sure. The Flash #17 review can be found here:

James Tynion lV is kicking off the League of Shadows arc in vicious fashion, and man does it look horrible for the Bat Family, but it makes for a glorious first chapter for fans of this title. You can check out my review on Detective Comics #951 here :

Who would have thought that Steve Orlando would be the one to deliver a great roster of characters and make them actually entertaining , if not, more engaging than the mainline roster of the main Justice League book? My review for Justice League of America #1 can be found here:

By the way, I recently jumped back on to reading Tim Seeley's current tenure on the  Nightwing title and it is really enjoyable and I couldn't anymore thrilled to read a good Nightwing series. For me, I always liked Dick Grayson a bit more than Bruce Wayne because he actually managed to show two times in the characters 75 years of history that he is a worthy, if not better successor to wear the cape and cowl of the Bat than Bruce or Damian. You could read Batman: Prodigal, Batman: Battle of the Cowl and Grant Morrison's run on Batman and Robin to see how solid of a Batman that Grayson was. This current Nightwing series has been solid and from issue #10 (currently checking out and reviewing issue 16), It's really enjoyable to see Nightwing in his own element and having his own voice. That's always refreshing to see how different Nightwing is as a character, who sets himself apart from his mentor. Anyway, I just wanted to mention the Nightwing series. I'll see you guys around next week with some new reviews. Take care, and enjoy your weekend.
