Artists that played at SugarHill Bar gig 6/11/14 by Anthony Andujar jr

I was doing my 3rd gig at Sugar hill bar again. Helping buss around the bar near the Band/DJ venue. I think I should start looking into having a career related to this sort of thing. I like it. Not the whole muggy body heat, but just the music scene or as my buddy Kyle said it best" It's like the gathering of the minds".  There some cool bands. Sadly I only managed to know the name of one of the bands. They all performed great, some had an 80s synth ,experimental kind of sound, while another sounded a whole lot like the smiths combined with the National. There are some very Hipster like vibes, (but what isn't these days?)But sadly the only band that I knew the name of was Parquet Courts. I spoke with the lead singer Austin and joked around saying that he almost resembled Beck in a appearance. But their set was pretty awesome and was the highlight for most of the people at the venue.

The 80s retro like , synth band ( I didn't know there names sadly due to working) lead singer Chris was a very nice guy. Spoke with him for a few minutes and a pretty cool dude. I also have to mention some alternative/ independent/ electronic/ garage band artists that people can check out such as :
